03 About

I'm Harendra. A B.Com graduate, currently inside CA Inter Group I & II. Building a practice at the intersection of finance, writing, and disciplined personal craft.

Day to day: studying, freelancing in finance, running a small personal investing book, and writing plainly about money for friends who'd rather not read a 47-page tax explainer.

The default in this profession is permanent invisibility — the answer is right because nobody noticed it being given. I want the answer to be right and for the person reading it to understand why. Plain English, honest trade-offs, numbers in service of decisions.

04 Work

Independent

2024 — now

Finance & Accounting Freelancer

Selective briefs for individuals and small businesses: bookkeeping, basic tax filings, clean-up of messy books, cash-flow models.

  • Reconciled 18 months of mixed personal/business accounts for a freelance creative collective.
  • Built a cash-flow + tax-set-aside template now used across the freelancer network.

Personal Book

2022 — now

Self-managed equity & index portfolio

A small, disciplined long-only portfolio across Indian equities and broad-market index funds. Written theses, monthly reviews.

  • Maintains a public-style journal: thesis on entry, post-mortem on exit. No exceptions.
  • Beat Nifty 50 over a 24-month review window on a deliberately concentrated book.

2023 — now

Informal finance mentor

First call when something money-shaped lands on a friend's desk: a job offer, a freelance invoice, a tax notice, a SIP question.

  • Walked 15+ first-job tax filings through, line by line, no jargon.
  • Quietly fixed three near-misses on capital-gains reporting before they became problems.
